Bubble Bath of Today

There's nothing like coming home after a long day, grabbing your favorite magazine from the coffee table, pouring yourself a glass of wine and soaking the day away. Today's bath offers a whole new bathing experience.

Let’s talk about the three main types of bathing experiences.

  1. Bath – plain and simple, this is just a bathtub you can soak in, take a bubble bath and just relax in peace and quiet. Since these do not have any technology or electronics to them, they will be the least expensive of the bunch. They are available in a myriad of colors, shapes and sizes to fit any room and décor.
  2. Whirlpool – These bathtubs are equipped with a motor and jets to move water and air, and provide a therapeutic massage experience. Since the water is recirculated through the pump, the use of bath oils is not recommended. Many large whirlpools today come with heaters to maintain the temperature of the water. Kohler has taken whirlpools to a whole new level by adding new experiences to many different baths:
    • Effervescence - A soft cascade of champagne-like bubbles.
    • Backjets - A system of 10 backjets that simulate a spa massage that loosens tension on the back and shoulders and encourages deep breathing.
    • Neckjets - A factory-installed pillow with two adjustable jets that pulse alternately from left to right for a stress-relieving massage on the back of the neck.
    • Chromatherapy - Lights positioned in the basin illuminate the water, providing a sequence of color to enhance your mood. For example, set the color to aqua, and feel like you are on a Caribbean getaway.
    • VibrAcoustic - A technology-based sound therapy defined as hearing and feeling sound vibrations through the body.  Proven to promote relaxation, it is an ideal feature to add to a bathtub that is designed and engineered to instinctively ease tension and stress. Kohler has pioneered this technology, and currently has one bathtub that offers this incredible option.
  3. Air Bath – These bathtubs have small holes and a pump that forces heated air through the system. These baths provide an overall body massage as opposed to specific targeted area massage, and creates refreshing bubbles from tiny holes that can be adjusted for intensity, from light bubbling to a revitalizing massage. Kohler’s Bubble Massage baths are available with or without chromatherapy, and come in a variety of shapes and sizes.

With all of the new bathing experiences, you are bound to find one that tickles your fancy. However, sometimes there's just nothing like a good ole bubble bath.
